CRITERIA
The minimum score for admission, calculated on the average of the scores assigned b the commissioners’ according to the method used in wine competitions and recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, is set at 85/100 points. For the wines that obtain the minimum score, a further evaluation will be carried out on the brand integrity.
Wines with a score of between 80 and 85/100 may be considered for the Enoteca Italiana Siena if they show additional values, such as sustainable productive processes, product healthiness and terroir expressiveness. This helps promoting different types of products and make lesser-known wines more popular.
Enoteca Italiana Siena will not reveal the scores for individual wines, reserving the right to prepare for its own use a qualitative ranking of the wines admitted.
